Always wanted a career in technology? No matter your educational background, you have a chance of becoming a software engineer through Betamore’s newest Academy program. The delivery of the course will be a hybrid approach ( both in person and online, self paced) and the training commitment averages six months to complete. New cohorts will begin twice a year.
Startup 101
A six-week program which aims to provide intensified focus on the early-stage Founder. Startup 101 aims to provide early founders with the accountability, networking and collaboration, and educational interaction needed to move their business idea to the next level.
Entrepreneur Journeys: The Big Wins and Losses Along the Way
On June 15th we'll be joined by local entrepreneurs who have been on the journey and they're ready to tell all- the good, the bad, the ugly! After a short time of networking and refreshments, our moderator and board Chairman, Greg Cangialosi, will open up the discussion with Ellington West (CEO, Sonavi Labs), Grace Garry (Chair, MD Venture Authority) and others about the many ups and downs of being a serial entrepreneur. The Tech Revolution Transforming Manufacturing
On April 20th we'll be talking about the tech revolution happening in the manufacturing space! After a short time of networking with refreshments, we'll open up with introductory comments by Mike Galiazzo (President, Regional Manufacturing Institute) with panelists Antoine Hutchinson (CEO, FabPro Technologies), Audrey Van de Castle (Dir. of Digital Transformation, Stanley Black & Decker), Andy Cook (Founder, Made in Baltimore) and Andrew Sherman (CEO, American Bully Manufacturing) discussing all things TECH in manufacturing. Robotics, augmented reality, virtual reality, big data – these are all part of tech in today’s manufacturing industry!

Innovation in Construction
Sponsored by Whiting Turner, we've planned for February 16th’s event to be focused around the innovation, workforce dev programs and technologies seen in the construction industry today! Betamore Academy Meet + Greet
The Betamore Academy offers educational programming, workshops and courses throughout the year which support the startup entrepreneurial community as well as existing businesses with workforce and professional development programs.
