Mario Kart Grand Prix Attracts Serious Talent

Traffic jams. Grandstands. Bananas?

This week saw the first official Mario Kart Grand Prix tournament held at Betamore, sponsored by Orange Element. The tournament featured 32 players who competed for the chance to see their name engraved on the custom-crafted (totally awesome) trophy and other prizes. After nearly two hours of dodging shells and dropping bananas, one emerged victorious. Drew Nicolo walked away with a pair of tickets to the Baltimore Grand Prix, bragging rights, and a pretty sweet claim to fame.

The best part of the night? Our Grand Prix actually had a title sponsor.

Thanks to Orange Element for designing the tournament and volunteering as judges.
