The Holidays are one of Ali + Michele’s favorite part of the year. They love putting together the Betamore Holiday Party and filling the office with cheer. This year some elves came by to interview them and share some of their favorite holiday traditions.
Eggnog or Hot Chocolate?
Ali: Hot Chocolate made only with Almond Milk.
Michele: Hot Chocolate… a toddy twist counts right?
Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
Ali + Michele: Only wrapped, otherwise – ew.
Colored or white lights?
Ali: Only white.
Michele: There’s actually an ongoing family feud around this. We alternate every year.
Do you hang mistletoe?
Ali: In five spots in my house.
Michele: No, but I should probably start…
When is it appropriate to start playing Christmas music?
Ali: The day after Thanksgiving, but if I’m being honest – year round.
Michele: December – unless you work with Ali.
Favorite Holiday dish?
Ali: Smoked fish platter.
Michele: … it’s hard to pick one food – ummm sweet potatoes – it’s a vegetable, but like dessert.
Real tree or fake tree?
Ali: Real and it only counts if you chop it down yourself.
Michele: Real and buying it from Walmart is completely acceptable.
Snow? Love it or dread it?
Michele: Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Favorite Christmas Movie?
Ali: The Grinch.
Michele: The Grinch – my brother’s make me recite it from time to time.
Christmas letter or Christmas card?
Ali: What’s a Christmas letter?
Michele: Card – if we manage to get it together.
Favorite Christmas Dessert?
Ali: Gingerbread cookies made with grass-fed butter. I can get you the recipe.
Michele: Kahlua Cake!
It appears this office has an abundant supply of cheer + goodwill towards men. We hope you all enjoy the rest of your holiday preparations, and stay tuned for a special surprise next week from the Betamore team!
