How to be an Effective Digital Project Manager

As a digital project manager, you quickly learn that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to managing a project. It can be challenging but there are a few critical tools, tactics, and processes that can help. This workshop will provide an opportunity to share ideas and discuss the various methods used at Fastspot. This includes topics such as understanding project stakeholders, moderating feedback, conquering difficult conversations and keeping clients happy, keeping your internal team engaged, keeping budgets intact, project schedules, and more. In addition, workshop attendees will be provided with project organization tips & tricks Fastspot Project Managers have collectively learned over the past 16 years in the industry.

    Project Manager at Fastspot

    Abigail’s diverse background and mixed industry experience, including project management, account development, content curation, and corporate marketing help compliment the Fastspot team in many ways. Abigail graduated from UMBC with a BA in History and completed her MBA while studying abroad in the UK. In January 2016 she completed Betamore’s Front-End Web Development course which contributed significantly to a much deeper understanding of websites and how to be a more effective digital project manager.

    Julie Myers

    With a background in User Experience at Fastspot, Julie lends her experience in managing complex user experience projects to her role in working closely with client teams. A graduate of Philadelphia University with a BS. degree in Interactive Design & Media, Julie is a hard worker, a team player, and a problem solver, which plays into her passions for code, creativity and client relations.
